Do you hang out at gun stores talking about how you could have been an operator but had a club foot? Maybe sleep in your car so you can be first in for your 2 boxes of 45ACP? Think the 1911 is the best carry pistol of all time and will fight people over it? If so you might be a neck beard

 

Nope just an old veteran that doesn't talk much about it, bought new guns and getting screwed on ammo prices, and won't wait in a line more than 5 people deep just grab the shit when i can find it. Never had nor shot a 45 I am happy with the 357 for a larger hand gun revolver at that. I guess i don't qualify

 

Still not as bad as the guy behind me in line for ammo last week explaining how he never owned a gun until November and then bragged how now he has 15. Then asked if I thought they’d have bulk boxes of 6.5 creedmoor in stock.

I just facepalmed and thought to myself “you’re the whole damn problem right now”

The guy spending all day searching for .22 to flip is most likely a neck beard. They also moonlighted as Clorox whip flippers last year.

-mostly found at big retailers that sell ammo.
-Attracted to bulk .22 ammo stock, Cheetos and anime.
-Repulsed by soap, women and people with a BMI <25.

I have been treating the ammo thing mostly as a game. Always on the hunt now on the hunt for a deal without the internet. Kinda like when my wife used to hunt Beanie Baby’s but these go boom

 

Another change ay my local Cabela's on ammo sales. All of the "high demand" ammo (5.56, 9mm, 45, 22, etc.) is all now put on a table that's managed by a store employee. 5 box (any size) limit per caliber. Was previously 1 box of more than 50 rounds and 5 boxes of under 50. If you're a Club Member, that jumps to 8 boxes. Seems much more orderly, but the neck beards are showing up in force and buying a LOT.

 

They started this here as well about 2 weeks ago.....

I kinda liked the the 1 bulk box limit (only in times like this). Would go a long way into getting ammo into more hands. But I also understand the pure business aspect of things.

I haven’t seen any bulk boxes anywhere except the pics posted on here

They had a few Winchester 9mm ball 500rd bulk packs but they weNt quick. I should have gotten that instead.
