A couple weeks late but finally got my lift, rims, tires, and grille installed.

 

UCAs are stock. Under 3" lift you do not need new UCAs. I am getting an alignment this week.

 

Was your rig fully stock when you made that burly attempt?

 

Used a Bed Rug Trac Mat and two Dewalt II Tsac toolboxes to level our the rear access cab floor for more storage capabilities.

 

In addition to the mod up top, I also received my 4" tube steps and Tyger roll-up vinyl tonneau cover I need to install.

Bonus: added a emergency $20 bill to the slot under the center console lid.

 

Just put the TRD cat back performance exhaust on my truck yesterday.

To my knowledge there are only two OEM Toyota exhaust options across all the different 3rd gen models. TRD performance and stock OEM.

But it’s only two bolts and few hangers, if it’s free go for it to see if it makes a difference. I do recommend changing the gasket, even though many people don’t. This is mine at 7k miles, so yeah, I could have probably just re-used it like every one else, but I didn’t know what condition mine was in ahead of time. 90917-A6001 gasket

 

Yessir - just some 285/75/16's lol. bad decisions were made. But didn't mechanically hurt a thing

 

Had to look that up. Being a long bed it’d be an ideal platform!

I put new ceiling lights in my topper sleeping area. Hooked these up to the same RF remote as the exterior rack lights (it has 4 buttons).

 

Debadged yesterday. Dropping the stock spare and chopping the exhaust today.

 

I like the non-cocaine ready roll you did on the bill in case the coppers find it.

 

was it tricky to pry open? I have the keyless one and I've had 2 warnings

 

That’s the one I’m waiting on too! I feel like aluminum just makes so much more sense for the average guy like me who isn’t doing crazy stuff all the time.

Happy to hear you didn’t need to change the suspension at all, that’s a money saver for sure. Looking forward to see what else you do with yours in the future! As much as I love any build, it’s just a little more exciting to see what other pros on here are up to.

Switched over to the TRD air intake accelerator today. I know probably just snake oil and wasted money.... Switched to the TRD performance exhaust yesterday. I also have a new TRD oiled air filter. Not sure if I’m gonna keep running the stock paper filter for comparison or switch over to the oiled filter later.

 

How much of a pain (and how fool proof) is taking apart the roof/ceiling interior.??

5% tint all the way around, except for windshield.
New wildpeaks were delivered today for the sema wheels so that's next.
Also installed a start x remote start and the license plate light delete in reverse harness.
We're getting there!
