It does sound like I remember it. I think it was the middle section of the mixtape descent where I did a front wheel manual, unintentionally of course, for about 10' through some chunk. Thought I was going over but somehow saved it. That was with my seat at XC height. I slammed it for the park and never had an issue.

I think it's Italian for "not fun".

How would you say the downhill compares to black mountain? That’s one of the longest grueling, but doable, downhills I’ve done.

@jjones.yota I would say similar in terms of skill needed to ride, The upper section of black that your rode is pretty technical in my opinion due to the blown out water gully that it has become, You also rode that on probably one of the sketchiest of days to ride it and rode it successfully.

I would never push anyone to ride something they didn't want to , but I think you would appreciate riding the bike park even being nervous at first.

@honda50r might be able to better compare -

Yep, that was a good weekend. Wife and I have ridden >75% of Pisgah and Dupont since then. Of course, nothing lately. Wishing I had an indoor trainer or gravel bike lately.

There’s a few people that will be there with regular bike helmets. Those people are generally on short travel trail bikes.

    They still do well.

Debating it. Park riding has never been anything of interest to me...honestly it still isn’t. But, group trip/group ride...we’ll see. I’m still a maybe for this trip anyway.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I will join the crew, bringing 3 KTMs and my SxS! So when you guys get tired...you can jump in and hang on!

If I still had my KTM I'd bring it, hope you're not riding alone out there.

Nah I got my crew with me. It will be about 6 of us. Never ride alone, I have a good campfire story of a solo experience that required a massive hike out.
Which is why I bring enough water to supply a camel :)
