    If it's a good usa made wilton....those seem to be $$$.

    I picked up a wilton...made in china to wilton standards. Reviews are good, and it wasn't $600.[/QUOTE]

    Geez. I hate when good stuff like that gets thrown away. Got a perfectly good Fluke 45 multimeter out of a dumpster that way.

    Speaking of axles, @Abeyancer needs to come pick up all his goodies.

    Reminds me;

    It wasn't "good" left outside for ?years rusted solid, the locking deals for the swivel had to be replaced, the pins for the nut on the back had to be replaced... I chose set screws to do the job, the c shaped deal that attached the handle to the sliding jaw was missing and the screws were broken inside

    But still only 70 bucks worth of stuff to save a 1300 dollar vise

    Can't argue about rust here; we don't take kindly to rust where we're at as it's just not welcomed :burp:

    Rust is like herpes. Half the country has it and spends their whole life dealing with it while the rest of us who don't have it like to make it known that we are clean and disease free.

    It's a miracle for sure, like how Keith Richards is still alive.
