The toyota FB group I’m in can be pretty ridiculous. Something about that style of “forum” that brings out some real douchebags. Had a dude try and argue with me for no reason the other day about the type of finish on a piece of hardware just by the photo. Trivial stupidity. Then you got the lazy ass goons that act like they can’t use Google and ask the same damn questions three times a day. I worry for people sometimes, lots of helpless folks out there, it’s rather pathetic.

If it weren’t for the actual technical and diy posts that were helpful for my purposes, I’d leave.

 

Almost as bad here in the general forums area where everyday there is the oil change interval, tire size, headlight and seat cover questions

You forgot people asking about the sound from the fuel tank after the trucks are turned off.

 

Love it when someone asks about tire sizes like I had a 16 and now a 19. What sizes can I run? Did they forget it is the same truck?

 

Figured I’d asked here before I posted them to the public.

I have a 4 month old pair of Polarized Oakley Gas Cans with two brand new set of polarized lenses. The lenses that are in the frames are gold iridium mirrored an have a small ding, but not noticeable when wearing. The other two sets of lenses are brand new. One set is the standard black iridium mirrored polarized lenses that come with the frames when you buy them. The other set is the gold iridium polarized mirrored lense. Both sets are brand new and never came out of the box. I paid $225 plus $100 for each set of lenses. Lookin to get $275 for everything. Only reason I’m selling them is because, when I went for my DOT physical the doctor told me I needed a set of prescription sunglasses.

 

My torque wrench only goes to 150 ft lbs... so I went to that, then used a breaker bar for a little more umph. Just need to put torque stripe on there so I know where to put them back if it moves.

 

Let me know when you are ready for some fishing. I am ready to get out as well. The water/weather has just been too cold.

 

I’m also down for some fishing keep me in the loop.

 

I'd be up for fishing or just a flat water paddle.

i did see M.O.R.E. is headed up my way the weekend of March 20th to get muddy at Wolf Den Run in Garrett Co.

 

I don't like parking lot meets, but that is a beautiful area. I've done a few TW GR trail meets that were fun.

 

Well since you know the area out there you try to put something together for the spring.

 

I'm almost ready. I have a rod rack on order to finish rigging up my cooler (aka water resistant tackle box) then I'll be really ready. I'm going to try and get out on the Bay one day this week if it's nice.

Thanks Eric. I may be looking at something a little more aggressive. I asked simply because yours were coming off and would have picked them up instead of new.
