Nope, but I turn my 33”s with stock 4.30 gears no problem at all.

If the 3rd gen is anything like the 2nd gens, there definitely is some power to be had by opening up the flow at the catback and the real flow is to be found once opening up the Y pipe in form of decreased boost PSI.

I've been reading most of your posts on this and it seems like you know what you are talking about so please elaborate on the issue and do you feel like its comparable in performance to the 2nd Gen SC taco's?

Fellow Utahn, are you towing at all with the SC?

I'd love to see some EGT's and Trans Temps with the blower going over Parleys.

There is a slight flat spot at 4000rpms. It’s mainly noticeable on manual trucks because we shift directly into the range.

I have not driven a second gen taco but the official stock numbers are this
    2nd gen magnuson Supercharged
305HP and 335lb-ft at the crank
    3rd gen magnuson supercharged
370HP and 330lb-ft at the crank

Please let me know if Maggie sends you the version 8 tune. I’ll do the same if they send it to me. This way we can nag them for it when it exists.

Finished the install yesterday. I'm not so fast but I am detailed and too OCD after 40+ years of being an Engineering! Only a couple things in the instructions that could be done a little differently / sequenced to make it go easier. All-in-all a very well put together install manual and the fit and finish are top notch. I worked on the install over a five day period - a one person job except the torque on the crank pulley bolt. Big thanks to @johntoyota for bringing his monster earth-bolt pullout torque wrench to put a full 200ft/lb on the mother! Will say the biggest pain in the ass is filling the engine coolant system. Even with the vacuum system I had to resort to the old-school method, and I'm not 100% certain that is even good enough. Now I just need to drive it.

Wait a minute you have CFO approval and you haven’t pulled the trigger? With all due respect are sure you really want a SC.

For those that have installed this, would you do it again? Long story short I sold my 2nd gen, bought a 2500HD, sold that and bought a nice Audi SUV but I find myself missing having a truck. I'm not keen on spending almost new truck money on a used 2nd gen so a new 3rd gen might be in the works. The engine has never impressed me when I've driven one which is where the thoughts of the supercharger come in. Does the increased torque help the lower rpm range feel more truck like or is it delayed enough in onset to not make much difference below 2000rpm? Most likely this would be paired with a manual transmission.
