Check out my front diff fluid. Clear as a bell. The rear was just as clear too. I was expecting it to look like crap.

My transmission fluid was redder than red as well.

I was going to repaint my skids too. Decided against it since it's under the truck and nobody will see them.

I just turned 68,000 miles. Yeah, I was surprised at the opacity of the diff fluids, I really was expecting them to look greyish/blackish looking.

This was first transmission service I did, and it was over a quart low from the factory. The truck drives sooooo much smoother now!

Ok Jeannie needs new tires on the 4runner. What's the best road tire for wet traction and longevity? It's a road queen and never goes offroad. I was thinking some Michelin Defenders.

Michelins that's why I recc. the Hankooks. There are others out there as well that are better than the Michelin's and will give you good wear and ride and be cheaper. The michelin is a little over hyped.

Everyone has options on what’s best. I had Michelin’s on my accord and the first set lasted 100k. No issues. I can’t remember which ones they were but I was impressed.

That was your first diff drain too? Man that's super clean for 68k if it was.

Those Michelin’s seem to last forever, my uncle had a set on his tundra with 100k. Our Toyota dealer had buy 3 get 1 for 1$ so we put general reliatrek ht on my wife’s 4Runner and they swapped my wheels on for me.

    Like, so many.
I’m really happy with it. My MPGs did go down a little, but there’s so much power in the low gears.

Dang, 100K out of a set of tires? I've read great reviews on that tire, so wife will probably get those and I'll go with the Yokos like @pdaddy.

My left ARB fog light was out, the right was on. Both are wired into the factory fog light harness. I checked to see if the out one was getting power and there was a spark and then both of them stopped working. I checked the fuse, bad fuse, and replaced it with a good one. But both lights are still not working. Any ideas?

Final product. Doesn’t move at all when driving. Solid as can be!
