Help identifying this

My wife dropped her wallet that slid under the seat, when I found it I also found this magnet attached but hanging from rail under the seat, I didn’t see where it came from but I knocked it to the carpet from somewhere. Any ideas what and where this is supposed to go?
The truck is less than a month old.

Looks like the backer for someone’s name tag. Have something similar for a name tag I use at conferences

sales guy is probably trying to figure out where he lost it

 

Definitely a magnet/backplate for a name tag. Had a bunch from when I worked at a pharmacy. Makes for a great fridge magnet.

 

Thanks wouldn’t have come up with that. It’s surprisingly strong. I was trying to make it much more complicated like seat positioning hootis.....

 

I normally take the magnets off these and keep them
