For all of you that have expressed interest, if you want it to get to 20 or 30 you need to advertise the group buy in the threads you normally hang out in. Don't spam it in places it doesn't belong but your local BS thread or your own build thread is a good place to get more eyes on it. This isn't something like suspension or armor that people are saving up for and actively searching for discounts so you will have to put in a bit of leg work to keep the interest up.

Thanks Hoarder. I definitely appreciate the help here. While I browse and respond where I see fit, I have no idea what I'm doing here aside from trying to spread the good word on what I think is a pretty decent offer.
I always figured the GB section was just somewhere people frequent and peruse through. I know it's a section I look at at least once per week just to see what's going on.

EVERYONE! As the man suggested, if we want to get there (as I'm sure we do) spread the good word!

    Folks have a great day!

OK, so I have some interest, but am I the only one who has never heard of this company? Are they a polished importer, a step above what you'd normally see on Amazon or eBay?

I might be in for a pair of shackles and the rear recovery point, but what I really need are tree savers.

Probably doesn't sound all that valid considering I started the group buy, but so it's known, aside from having made friends with the guys, I have no affiliation with them. I had met them once prior to Glamis, when my family and I were out wheeling off Rasor Rd. We crossed paths with them out in the sand dune area. They were out there having a play day with their sxs's and doing some filming.

I did ask them a lot of questions when I got to actually speak with their guys out in Glamis (I'm in industrial design, so I tend to pry a little hard with this kind of stuff if the opportunity presents itself). Prior to this, I have purchased from them in the past. My F150 had one of their leveling kits on it along with their wheel spacers. I was happy with them. If they were imported, it was definitely top notch stuff compared to some other "budget" stuff I've purchased in the past. I also have their UCAs and ubolt flip on the Taco right now. The ucas have been on my truck for about 30k miles now, through a solid amount of abuse, and lots of climate change from desert hot to snow cold. So far they've held up really well. Uniballs are in great condition still, and the poly bushings are still in great condition too. The ubolt flip, well, it's a ubolt flip. Not a whole lot to say about it.

Anyway, back to your question. When I was talking to them about their goodies, they showed me some nice pics and a couple of videos of their North American factory, which is in Baja. I was told that the majority of their steel is imported from foundries/mills in Texas, and some of it comes from Mexico. And most of their aluminum comes from somewhere in the midwest, I can't remember which state. Pieces they don't manufacture themselves are (what I was told) sourced through reputable and certified (ISO) manufacturers. This makes sense to me, in my industry, it's not uncommon for a company/brand/whatever, to manufacture to their core competencies, and source anything else. Keeping in mind that you're putting your name and reputation on the line with these goods. When we personally have to go 3rd party for certain components, it's an entire team in our company who puts the prospective suppliers through the wringer, because at the end of the day it's our ass on the line. So I can confidently say (from what they showed me) that they're fabricating/machining stuff on their own. And I'd like to believe that with what seemed to be a solid amount of transparency while I was probing them, (oh jesus, here come the jokes) they're using a solid manufacturer for their recovery stuff. If you didn't get the chance, check out my long-winded review of the stuff I won in Glamis. It's linked in the first post of this GB thread.

I don't take a lot of time to post up here about what I've done to my truck, but if anyone is curious about the UCA's or ubolt flip, let me know, I'm happy to answer any questions or share pics.

So, @TheCochese should I put you on the list? At least this isn't one of those Pay-now group buys. lol.

I think I'm in, even if it's just for a pair of shackles.
