The kid bought it stripped down as just a cab on a frame with an engine, transmission, etc...

However, it had a clear title and no rust, so he bought it and pieced it back together with parts from like six different trucks! Literally...

I met this guy named Troy at a Dunkin Donuts in Philly while picking up a DoorDash order; These are Vogue tires, and I think they actually look pretty good on an Impala. The car also had a killer stereo system...

I saw this parked on a residential street in Philly; There are certain areas of the city where I’d expect to see a Rolls-Royce parked in front of someone’s house, but this isn’t one of them...

I met a really hot girl while picking up a DoorDash order from Buffalo Wild Wings the other night; She was a Dasher too, but unfortunately she had a boyfriend...

We exchanged numbers though because we share a lot of the same interests and she's gonna make me a custom T-shirt!

Is it rock, or just stereotypical eighties music?

Sometimes these DoorDash customers confound me; Got a relatively small Dunkin Donuts order from the DD in Horsham and the customer specifically said “Leave outside my door...”

The customer was inside a doctor’s office, so you don’t have have to convince me not to go inside during the COVID pandemic. I left the food at the front door, took a picture to confirm it had been delivered, and left. There was absolutely no instructions saying to bring it inside, so I left it at the front door.

This woman messaged me over the minutes later when I was waiting for my third order of the day at the Warrington Chick-Fil-A and asked why it was wasn’t brought to her, and I responded that she’d said to leave it at the door; She hasn’t responded, so I’m thinking she’s embarrassed.

The only reason I accepted this order is because it was lumped in with a bigger (higher-paying) order, and I did not realize there was no tip until I completed the delivery; Luckily, it was right on the way to the higher-paying order!

I've been driving with Uber Eats since December 2018 and DoorDash since July 2019; In that time, three restaurants in my area have made it onto my "Never going to pick up an order from there again" shitlist...

The first one is Slack's Steak and Hoagie Shack on Route 611 in Warrington, the second one is this Chinese/Asian place in the Buckingham Greene shopping center on York Road in Holicong/Buckingham Township, and the third is the Taco Bell on York Road in Warminster.

Slack's Steak and Hoagie Shack is a very nice place, and I've never eaten their food but I assume it's really good; My grievance with Slack's, as mentioned before, is that the owner of the place is absolutely adamant that all orders immediately go into the warm bag. I have picked up at so many different types of restaurants that I can't keep track of them all, but to date Slack's is the only place that has given me any grief over not having my warm bag with me. The first time, I forgot the warm bag and lied to the owner to shut him up; The second time, just a couple of weeks ago, I had just started using the big warm bag that took up my entire front seat. When I refused to go back out to my truck and physically bring the entire bag into the place to prove I had a warm bag in my possession, the owner asked if I was lying. I ended up going out to the truck, taking a picture of the bag in my front seat, and showing it to the employees; Needless to say they believed me...

I have made over 650 deliveries as of this post, including so many sandwich/hoagie shops that I can't keep them straight; Not ONE of them, whether it be a mom-and-pop operation or a multistate franchise, has given a shit whether I have my bag or not. Slack's is seriously the only place that gives a shit!

One night, I ended up at a sushi place in Warrington; In a stroke of bad luck, all of the other sushi restaurants near this one had to close (I think they were out of food), and they directed all orders to this place. As a result, this sushi place became swamped and I ended up waiting almost half an hour for one order; While waiting, I ended up chatting with other Dashers who were also waiting...

One of them was a middle-aged woman in a white 2018 Volvo XC90 (NOT a cheap vehicle), a woman who proclaimed to have kids and a house, and a day job; She said that she'd gotten bored during the COVID lockdown and started doing DoorDash just to get out of the house when her family wasn't around!

The owner of the Chinese place in Buckingham blamed me for not being able to find the place when I informed him that his restaurant's location on the GPS was wrong; His wife apologized to me for his attitude, but I still turn down all orders at that place...
