Just added some CBI skids and am going to be getting some rock sliders installed soon.

Noticed since adding the armor (CBI full skid, all steel) my Taco needs a little more oompf to get it up hills and pick up speed.

Would regearing to 4.56 or 4.88 be helpful?

Im running 285/75R16 Nitto Ridge Grappler and have a bed cap currently. Bumpers are stock.

Do you ever plan on going to a significantly bigger tire? If so 4.88 will fix that gutless feeling. But if you are only going to stay with 33s I would go with 4.30 or 4.56. do you spend a lot of time on the highway?

4.88 and done. You will lose some mpg as your rpms will be higher for freeway speeds
