1 ton first gen Tacoma

I like the color of your truck different everyone and their dog has a black or green double cab you did awesome on it what’s your frame height?

I may have asked you already, and I may just be over looking it. But what’s your frame height? I’m just kinda comparing mine to your very first picture right now. And curious.

 

Mine was right at 23 1/2 inches but I have stock prerunner springs also in rear too

 

I think I’m wanting mine lower in rear, and my passenger side spring is hitting my control arm bracket like yours was/is. (Fully adjusted in also)
But it seems fair so far. I HAVE to buy bumps ASAP. I thought I could get away with not having them.
How do you like yours? They loud and hit often due to keeping yours low?
And I still got the typical “taco lean” to driver front side.‍♂️‍♂️

 

Mine don’t hit often if I hit a big ass hole in the road on mountain fast they will hit occasionally but not much other than that they are quiet now they are broken in also I got same taco lean in rear on drivers side haha corners like a Porsche.

 

Hope you figure out your grinding noise soon man always something like me when I took mine for first ride no lockdown and only had drive would go into 1st 2nd it was annoying but after I bought new lower valve body this thing runs like a champ especially with the new aem intake and 3 inch exhaust with super 40 series flow master this fucker sounds mean and opened it up power wise a bit

Definitely would be a fun time I love mine it’s a beast goes everywhere I want it to finally weighed my truck it’s 5300 lbs not bad with 1 tons

w59 5 speed? Passenger drop?

 

What driveshaft did you use man? And any pictures of yoke to transfer angles. I’m convinced this stock extended cab 4x4 shaft I’m using has unhappy angles and carrier bearing causing this noise....

 

I don’t have any pics I can though but I used Ford 350 stock driveline and used Toyota flange mated to transfercase snd regular Ford u joint 2 piece clip for front differential hookup snd rear had a new complete driveline with Toyota flange to tcase with Chevy u joint 2 piece clip for rear differential

 

I had to add a CV for front driveline going to tcase side to clear that crossmember it’s a close tight fit but everything worked out I’ll get you pictures
