Big time, you would have a riot out there in your first gen that looks built for serious action I am certain..

They seem to do an event just about every month out there if you ever want to give it a shot, let me know and we can represent the World of Tacoma's!

Do you have an lsd? I don't have any power adders and really spin my tires (well, one tire) coming out of the turns hot..

I've been wanting to go, but im currently on baby watch so I can't really go out to stuff like this and I'll probably be pretty booked for a few months after she's born lol. I'll try to hit one up one of these days.

I have a lsd, its just not in the truck yet lol

Well congratz on the upcoming baby! That would be sweet if you can escape one day to spend time with your "first baby"

What is the lsd from and are you going to do independent rear suspension or just pulling the lsd out of it?!

I believe this will be my next improvement before adding power..

its a celica supra diff. just pulling the lsd out of it and swapping it into the stock Tacoma 3rd member. But I dont think my wife would appreciate me leaving her alone with two kids hahaha.

Bring the whole family, I know a few people at my local club who turn their autocross weekend into a family event. They'll dual drive their vehicles so the wife runs while the husband watches the kids, then they switch.

My buddy lowered his pre-runner on qa1s temporarily before lifting it. Quite a wide range of adjustment.

No. I'm gonna do a cab swap. Found a beautiful donor truck. I've always wanted a lowered 4 door.

Quick question - did your lower shock mount require spacers/washers in the lower control arm to fit properly? The set I ordered has a 1.25" wide poly bushed mount, which looks to be just a bit narrower than the control arm mount.

You also might need new flange bolt for bottom mount . Mine was 1/2 inch eye hole . Factory one on mine was slightly larger (metric) . Just double check . Had to borrow car to go to Hardware store

I ordered the 5/8" bottom mount, so I should be ok I think? Can’t wait until they get here to see if this all works out how I hope it will, haha

What brand you buy ? Vikings got the 5/8 poly bushings with 1/2 sleeve . If thats the one you got than need 1/2 inch bolt . If you got 5/8 bolt mount its too big . Check what size bottom bolt is .My prerunner was slightly bigger than 1/2 in so needed new 1/2 flange bolts .

I got Vikings also - the double adjustability for just a few dollars more sealed the deal. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll be sure to check the bolt size (and buy if need) before I start taking things apart.
