You got that fancy bumper with swing out. Us folk who still rocking the chrome factory can add that deck weight.

Yea I was saying for my setup in particular lol. I already got a lot of weight so adding another 200lb of just a storage unit isn’t an option haha

That’s why I’ll probably never have a bumper with swing out. :pout:

    Only the best.
New Dobinsons long travel shocks are on. Very happy with the extra travel. Also put on archive flip, 24" BL's, and gm bumps.

Nice, big difference, so your other shocks were bottoming out or did you do something different with the springs? Big difference in the height of you rear spring shackle, looks like it still has more down travel in the shackle.

Just got to get it to the shop to dial in the alignment today, and it will ride nice and smooth again.

i need to know the length at which a shock is no longer labeled an “extended travel” and becomes coined a “long travel” shock.

    Morning, From AlabamaWX

RADAR CHECK: A large mass of rain covers the northern 2/3 of Alabama early this morning as a cold front pushes through the state. Rain will taper off by midday for most places, but a few lingering showers are possible this afternoon. Temperatures will hold in the 50s over North Alabama today, with 60s and 70s over the southern half of the state ahead of the front.

A strong upper air wave will bring a cold rain to the state late tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures will have a hard time getting out of the 40s tomorrow over the northern half of the state, and additional rain amounts of 1-2 inches are likely over the next 48 hours. No severe weather worries with no surface based instability.

REST OF THE WEEK: The sky becomes partly to mostly sunny Wednesday with a high around 60 degrees… Thursday will be sunny with a high in the mid to upper 60s. The weather will stay dry during the day Friday, then a weak upper disturbance could squeeze out a few sprinkles Friday night, but moisture will be very limited, and most places won’t see anything meaningful.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: We will maintain an outside risk of a few sprinkles Saturday morning, but the weekend looks generally dry. We will see a mix of sun and clouds Saturday with a high around 60… Sunday will be sunny with low 60s likely.

NEXT WEEK: The weather looks pretty quiet through the week with mostly dry conditions and highs rising into the 70s by Wednesday. See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

SUNDAY’S WARMTH: Yesterday was the warmest day so far this year for Alabama. Highs included…

    Troy 85
    Tuscaloosa 84
    Montgomery 83
    Birmingham 82
    Pell City 82
    Anniston 81
    Sylacauga 81
    Bessemer 81
    Calera 81
    Mobile 80
    Muscle Shoals 79
    Huntsville 75

Are we done with cold weather? No. We always have cold snaps in Alabama in March and April. I would not plant anything harmed by a freeze…

In North Alabama before April 15
In South Alabama before April 1

ON THIS DATE IN 2007: An EF-4 tornado tore through Enterprise, eight students were killed at Enterprise High School when a concrete wall collapsed on top of them as they huddled in a hallway in a crouched position. The students were Michael Bowen, Peter Dunn, A.J. Jackson, Ryan Mohler, Katie Strunk, Michael Tompkins, Jamie Ann Vidensek, and Michelle Wilson. A ninth fatality occurred in Downtown Enterprise. 83-year-old retired nurses’ aid Edna Hays Strickland was killed. She was standing behind a living room window of her home as the glass shattered.
