Morning everyone. Creed give the ol boss man a big thank you for having those plates laser cut. Trying to machine those slots or drill the holes would not have been fun at all.
I had to drill holes in some before and did finally get a few drilled, but I ended up having the rest done elsewhere.
Make you some good target material if you ever get extra. Used to have a leftover piece but it disappear. Bullet resistant

I’m back and have all my limbs, but I did (unwillingly) donate quite a bit of blood to the Everglades mosquitos.
Got in super late last night, so shaking off the exhaustion and putting the coffee to the test. :burp:
The family had a great time and we made the most of every minute, I think my oldest has a future in the park service, it’s amazing how many facts about trees, plants, fish, animals and birds he knows.

Im going to have to catch up on this thread and see what shenanigans took place while I was gone.

    have a great day fellas!

I have a small target I made with some, it's about 10" X 10" but it's only 3/16" thick. I shot it at 100 yards with my muzzle loader and it barely scratched it. Shot it with my wife's .270 and it went through it, just wasn't quite thick enough :D

I have appointment this afternoon to get tires rotated and balanced. There's not many miles on them since original mount and balance but I'm certain when I took it back for the TPMS to be installed, they ripped off some of the weights, and paid no mind to it.
Cool thing about my job is sometimes I get a opportunity to work at other power plants. Good possibility the end of month I'll get to go to Arizona for work. Lots of overtime and good $$ for living expenses.
I plan to make a bit of vacation of it too, with family there. Thing is, I never believe I'm actually going until I'm on my way there.

New poll thanks to the safety pig not wearing shoes. I guess we'll be having pickled pigs feet for lunch, who's in?

Ugh...think I'd pass on the pigs feet but like the saying goes don't knock it until you try ito_O
Safety toe boots at my work are required but I get composite toe because security. Steel ties don't work nor do composite toe with steel shanks. Work buys them. Plus welders, electricians and possibly I&C technicians get allowance for FR clothing. Not machinist/mechanic dudes.
