I have access to a mainline hubpro for relatively fair rates, since I have a couple good friends that work at this particular shop. I might could be enticed to see about getting an hour or two of time booked to try out some different tunes :anonymous:

It’s usually reserved for relatively high horsepower cars, as such, so I might be laughed at.

Tried the 87 cruiser file and it has great performance and mpg!

If I switch to the 91/93, it should be making a bit more hp correct? wondering how noticeable it is..

You are welcome to continue using the shared version in the 1st post.
That is a very early version that was shared publicly. There is a newer (improved) version that is available only by PM.
The Premium versions do produce slightly more HP, but in my opinion, not noticeable enough to justify some people's gas prices.

    Trans torque tables?
I averaged all 17 tables including the axis values and made them all the same. Left "sport" out of the equation. Works beautifully

I've done similar to a degree I've been tweaking it since to produce better drivability. It's surprising how much different the truck will drive by modifying those tables.

K 4.0 is killer. That low end torque is niiiice. When u need to accelerate in a higher gear, she's not afraid to do it. About 300 miles in, so far I'm impressed!

I have one queued up but haven’t flashed it yet. I used the OV example tune maps on top of a modified version of @PapaRee 4.0. I didn’t modify all of them to the same map, I did something similar to what OV posted in the combined sample tune.

Any tricks/lessons learned you’d like to share with the class before I flash my version?

If you look at them all and their 3D shape, you can see which ones need to be done. I did not change them all, but did change about half of them on a new tune.

Yes, those are the tables I'm asking about. So the results were positive? I think I will make the same change this week.

How are you determining where on the table to tweak? The axes are throttle position vs vehicle speed. Throttle position is easy (I think), but do you have any idea what the units are for vehicle speed?

Tune and hang on!! This by far the best tune for me that holds cruise and keeps low trans temps while pulling up steep hills and mountains in my area. It's finally a pleasure to drive with cruise on to being able to crest small hills and never down shift to 5 or 4th gear! I did lower the tip in on the skinny pedal for winter driving BUT will go back to the original when it stays dry.

You might be alright and able to get away with the current file's tip in - so long as it stays dry and no further significant snow storms come through. What @PapaRee modified for me was perfect just sensitive enough but not too much taken out that it made it boring or anything.

I’ve been running a modified Kruiser 4.0 for a while now, it is a great tune. I altered the 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6 downshift points for around here and slightly reduced the normal throttle values in lower gears as well. It’s mainly the 17 transmission throttle reduction tables I haven’t implemented. Kruiser 4.0 had table 10 modified, and possibly a few more, but not all 17. I have a tune ready to flash where I’ve changed the majority of them based on the example tune OV posted. Maybe mid week I’ll flash it.

I feel it is more consistent and "smoother" shifting.

Well, @OVTune or anyone else that may know the answer.

What happened to the previously bought credits before we went to this new system?

Are they actually kph, or are they kph like the shift schedule maps are (not) kph?

    There is only one kph...
A while ago I set my monitoring apps to kph and helped alot to dial in shift points.
