    Also finding that you can save a lot of money by joining parent FB groups where people are selling or giving away toys that their babies/toddlers have outgrown...these kids grow out of things so quickly that you can get a lot of stuff that's nearly new for way less than retail, that other people don't have room to store or don't want to keep. We got her an outdoor play set, push car and her high chair that way.

    play set was free actually, lady wanted $20 for it or "just come get it if you can take it apart first". Just needed a 12mm socket and 5 min and it was apart.

    LOL yeah it was completely the other way around before Sofia. Baby fever is real, couldn't go a day without talking about it. After the baby though I promise she might be thinking differently. Depends on a lot of things though, how easy the birth was, how much help she has (sounds like she has a lot of family nearby which will be the best thing in the world), etc.

    Sofia was born right before the pandemic and big lockdown hit so we pretty much had no one to help lol. When she's older I'm going to tease her for ushering in the apocalypse

    It's one thing that her parents are just so ecstatic about the plans for the wedding, but her mom mentioned kids again as recent as yesterday :rofl:

    Her dad plans on retiring around that time just to be a grandpa and be at home to help take care of them.

    But you're right, after 1, it could really change how we feel.

    Like the venue we chose? Could maybe opt to use Tyler's boat too :rofl:

    yeah, my in laws were constantly tossing in the ol' 'when I finally have a grandchild' guilt trip references every convo we had at one point, glad that finally stopped lol. My parents had a couple grandkids already so they didn't lay it on too thick.

    @Abeyancer

    Gotta keep you up to speed :rofl:

    Tomorrow, we've got an appointment to check out the houses in Fowler for one of the developers we're on the waiting list for.

    Apparently we were moved up a few slots because of qualifications/lack of/bought elsewhere/etc.

    Should be nice to see the 2 layouts again that we liked best, as we could be closer to our forever home than we thought :angrygirl:

    Since my girl will be working before our appointment, I'll have to hit up the snow again.

    Right on brother! That's got to be a huge relief to move up spots like that:D

    You definitely confident it'll be your forever home? That's a huge commitment to serious implications. I worry about long term shit like trying to climb stairs when I'm old and feeble:rofl:or be able to install those chairs lifts lol

    I think I've found a prospect on my forever home. I'd have to move back to VA but aunt wants to gift me (what's left) of the family farm my granddad grew up on. It's 1.43 acres and current annual taxes are only 231 bucks a year

    that's fine by me, I used to say I wanted my ashes spread in the mosh pits at warped tour but since that's been cancelled I need a new plan.
