Just picked up the front recovery point from Eddy (SOS Offroad). Anyone know the torque specs of the two bolts that attach to the frame? I wouldn't care so much except that this one point could be the main reason for getting me out of sticky situations.

Also, what's it actually rated for? How much force could be pulled on this, out of curiosity?

Unfortunately the seller's ratings are always different than real experience ratings but I'm sure you already knew that, based on your sarcastic comment

I don't think Eddy has his professionally rated/certified, Good'n'snug is probably what he'd say if you asked him. From what I can see the ARB doesn't have torque specs either, but is rated.

It should do what it's meant to do and perform much better than stock if things get wild.

It probably hasn't gone through the testing process to be actually rated, if it has been the rating would be stamped on it.

@E.J. @McRib Hm I figured as much coming from Eddy, figured I would see if anyone has snapped one or warped or something. But Thanks anyways, I'll be happy to at least know not too many people have problems or else I would be seeing more about it
