Exactly. But, I think the dealer meeting happened? So, they might have some clues for planning?

You heard W12? You heard wrong. Toyota's pairing with Bugatti to bring the W16 out of the Chiron.
W12 out of the Veyron was last years news.

New Tacoma prob gets turbo 4 cyl like some mentioned. Would be cool if the Pro gets the same turbo 6 as Tundra. Or as an available option for other trims?

When I bought my Gen 3 in 2017 I drew the sales"person" with the big jiggly, highly exposed tettey's.....
It didn't matter much how much she knew or what she had to say. I just had to keep her chattering away while she looked at her reflection in the glass, adjusted her top and bent over to brush dust specks off her boots.

I knew what I wanted (or did I ? o_O) and it was just a matter of cost. (Isn't it always?) I saw immediately she had options I couldn't afford !
I just knew I had to save my strength and focus for when they unleashed the closer on me.

Only thing we can hope is the factory tunes won’t be fucked again. Ford factory tunes are supposedly some of the best on the market, they take into account everything from gasoline quality to the expansion rates of all the different metals in the engine

I remember awhile ago reading that the tacoma and the tundra would be sharing the same frame, so I guess it could be possible they will have the same engines, just different bodies put on the frame (and different suspension)

I heard the Tacoma name is going to be retired soon because of cultural misappropriation that stemmed from the 3rd gen not living up to the meaning of the name.

Same platform but most likely they'll go to turbo 6 instead of a V8.

I'm definitely intrigued by the future generation, definitely will be interesting, but I don't think we'll see a diesel or V8 Tacoma.

The only way a 3rd gen Tacoma is getting a V8 is by me swapping out the engine with my wife’s GX460

Heard it from a salesman?..... surprised he didn't ask for a big cash down to hold the first one just for you.
