Anyone have this happen to their grill ? It looks like a long thin bubble under the chrome. Came out one day and it was like that . Looks like there may be a small stone chip in the chrome and it caused water and air to get under the chrome and bubble it out. Was hard to take a pic of it . Think the dealer would cover it under warranty ?? It looks like crap and if the dont looks like i need a new grill . And i see some for sale on here now too . Let me know what u think .

It's usually hard to get them to cover appearance (like paint blemishes and scratches) and adjustments (like headlight aiming) outside of the first 12 months/12K cause of normal wear and tear to a vehicle. But then I see you got a 2009...if you got it early 2010 you may still be good.

But then they might look at it and determine it to be a bad plating job and cover it under the 3/36K bumper to bumper. Can't hurt to try!

Ive had good luck with my dealer covering stuff like that on several vehicles. I have trim replaced on my VW, a door panel replaced on my honda and some others. If its obviously mfr defect then they may replace it if its still under warranty.
