    This house listed this morning at 4:24 am. I texted my realtor at 7:15 am to get a showing scheduled. It was scheduled and we were supposed to meet him at 5:45 pm to tour it and since it checked just about every box likely put a bid in on it. Realtor called me 5:20 pm and said don’t bother coming out here they’ve received a great offer and are cancelling all further showings. I’m at the end of my rope with this goddamn housing market.

    FTFY, earlier in the day the realtor had said the sellers agent told him the buyer wants people to sign an appraisal waiver for buyers offering over list so they agree to buy at contract price even if it appraises for less and show proof of funds to cover the difference so I assume they knew the offers would be over list price.
