This whole 3rd gen forum is full of constant whining! Maybe that's what you're hearing?

    :sadviolin:

Does it change pitch/tone with engine speed? What troubleshooting have you tried to ID the source?

This just started happening to my 2018 ... took it into the dealership and they told me that the drive belt needs replacement (under warranty) but the part is currently on back order.

I had some belt whine the other day but I thought it was just all the humidity from the rain we had. It hasn't come back yet, but I will keep an eye on it!

Ha I came here just to say this about the 3G forum. "Oh, my truck doesn't drive like my old WRX" or "Oh, my truck bed leaks, I didn't have this problem with my Outback" or "What tires & shocks would impress my Instalander buddies the most? I don't go offroad at all". Always something...

Just kidding of course. You guys are a daily inspiration to me. ;)

A '19 with 20k on the clock huh! Don't TOYOTA offer 36/3 yr bumper to bumper warranty anymore?

And if a vehicle is still under warranty, wouldn't the dealer be the best place to take it for any concerns that you can't address yourself?

IDK, I just don't know what has changed now over yesterday...
