This is the truth. The pro is gonna get a factory blower with a functional hoodscoop as well. Some vids have been leaked of the new TRD Pro Blower......I’m may get in trouble for sharing this, but oh well.

You can see they used the left-over desert air intakes as a scoop for the new blower.

I'd trade my truck in for a v8 equipped model depending on what engine and whether it had all the emissions bullshit

If the Tacoma gets a V8, I predict 5 posts a day bitching about mileage.

Yes, one Toyota product is ACTUALLY getting a v8, it's the Lexus IS500. This guy probably over heard people talking about Toyota is putting a v8 into something and assumed it's the Tacoma.

    I once had a salesman tell me the 2019 4runner sr5 has:
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Dynamic Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Collision Mitigation. It had NONE of those features!

    HERE'S THE BEST PART!!

Then when we were talking price, he tells me that tax is 1.1%, when it's actually 8.75%! How do you not know the tax rate where you live and work?!?!?!

I’d love to believe this it true, but probably not with Toyota.

But, it would kinda make sense. Ford stated moving away from V8s and even put V6 in Raptor. Then when Jeep started they were putting V8 in the Jeep rubicon, Ford came back with V8 in bronco, and now V8 in Raptor. Considering Jeep Gladiator is (or will be) probably the Tacoma’s biggest rival, Toyota may follow suit depending on how much market they are willing to loose. In reality I don’t think Toyota are loosing customers to any of the GM mid size trucks, Nissan frontier or Ford ranger, so while the Tacoma gets compared to those, it’s probably not who Toyota have their eye on.

Tacoma owns the mid size market. Even after new models were added to the mix, Toyota increased sales. They may have lost a percentage point or two, but overall sales numbers were still up.

Given that, they are in the drivers seat. So, as much as V8s or 4 liter diesels or even rear disk brakes are fantasized about here, it ain't gonna happen because they don't let fucking retards run the company. Why add huge costs when they don't have to?

They could probably copyright; We Don't Give a Fuck®
