I've gotta assume that's like bracket racing for short folks. You can be entirely inferior but proportionally appropriate for your size compared to a real adult.

 

My main workbench is full of Nissan guts

 

It may be average, but on me it LOOKS above average

 

I wondered if you knew how bracket racing worked

On my self sufficient farm Im retiring to, I intend to have my own machine tools to re manufacture parts when my other machines break down

 

I been watching alot of restoration videos and the amount of talent some of these dudes have making things that look just like a original casting from 200 years ago is crazy

If there was not alot of ACTUAL gunk.. like gooey stuff or or hard crystalline stuff do NOT remove and replace that Welch plug. You have no way of setting it correctly with your available tools and you'll make the carb literally dump fuel

 

Gimme a diamond wheel and I can grind up anything you need tooling wise. I do miss that job sometimes

 

Yea the highlights of those kinda shows inspire me, getting to work on machine tools in both operation and maintenance has proved to me I'm just dangerous enough to get myself into trouble

 

Lemme get a diamond wheel and I could make some tools

 

But I'd still honestly rather buy inserts than go through that trouble

 

The way I was taught was making my own tooling



hopefully by the end of the year I can pull the lathe out and actually set it up proper now that there’s a place to put it... been in storage for 9 years.
