So I'm shopping for a small lift kit, now torn between using Eibach or Bilstein shocks.
Both are big names in the import tuning circles, but how are they for truck shocks?
I see the Bilsteins 5100 are used a lot on this forum, and need some serious opinions on the Eibachs.. Both are reasonably priced. In fact the Bilsteins come with Eibach springs.
Thanks for the input in advance.

Have you tried them both? Or just happy with your Kings?
I'll add I'm not a serious off-roader, just dabble in a day at the dunes or mountain trails. No rock crawling

I don't have kings lol, only ridden in trucks with kings, I run 5100s on ome coils. is the ride better than stock, barely. I had the eibach coils at one point, I think the 650s? I cant remember but they rode the same.

    Cool stuff
I have 5100s with Eibach coils and a 1 inch block on the rear leveled out on my 2nd Gen ... the ride was better compared to the factory "sport" shocks that my truck came with. i believe i was 1 down from the highest perch.... i always recommend the 5100 setup for those who arent trying to spend 2.0 or 2.5 money

My 5100s didn’t last long on the rear before they leaked. I wasn’t doing anything hard with them. I went with the 5160s on the back for not much more.

Bilstein is a well known off road company. Very popular option for trucks.

    Have Eibach, no complaints.

You’ll get 9/10 people tell you 5100’s though since it is the popular forum opinion...do some research of your own before you decide to buy.

Very happy with my full eibach suspension... the only reason I get some bounce at high speeds on bumpy roads is the 2in single aal I got in the rear.. still great. Got better cornering, HEIGHT, off road feel all for 450... fugggg kings and their over 2k price....

Even to add to the above... my wife’s ram rebel with bilsteen and air ride is easily beat by my eibach suspension on the dirt roads with my kayak out back

Interested in opinions on this too. I'm deciding between the Bilstein 5100 with OME 887 coils and the Eibach kit.

I wish I knew more about degressive vs progressive. I just want my DD to have a normal ride with slight lift with out breaking the wallet. I'm leaning towards the Eibach
