2021 Tacoma TRD Pro vs. TRD Off-Road Departure Angle

    As of 2020, the tow package is standard equipment on ALL V6 trims.

    Yeap, I knew it. Do you know why the TDR Pro has a smaller departure angle than even the base Tacoma?

    I think it actually is, just not very easy to tell from their site.

    Yeah.
    This is where my head was going -- departure angle is just one small detail, and not even sure they have that listed right. There's not going to be a noticeable difference between any of the stock trims.

    People continue to say the Pro is a gimmick, but if you try to build an Off Road with leather and the other standard Pro features, the prices are close and you get the Fox suspension on the Pro. If you have seen pictures of the Fox suspension next to the stock Bilsteins, there is a huge difference -- it is not just a gimmick. That said, if you plan to lift it anyway, don't waste your money on a Pro.
