Bought a dashcam this morning. APEMAN C450. Saw in another thread it was rated by CNET as a solid cheap camera. $50 so I'll give it a go.

When my truck's hood stopped popping up I sprayed lubricant on the hood latch and it started popping up again. That was over 6 months ago. Like another member wrote you can also adjust the hood's bump stops to put more pressure on the hood to get it to pop up but that might misalign your hood, it depends on how much you move the hood's bump stop.

Yeah brother it's amazing how easily people get offended these days but it's always when they're not standing in front of me but when I'm nowhere around. Go figure. Thanks for explaining your truck's grille for me.

That is not neccessary, they're designed to be removed from the front.

Exactly how they're designed to be removed.

    Absolutely positively correct.

I agree with everything you wrote. The owner of the vehicle picks the estimate that is repaired/cashed out on but the insurance company can require you to take it to their recommended shop for an estimate but that estimate is not the end all say all estimate. Insurance companies are allowed to require vehicle owners to go to a specific shop for an estimate so they can analyze all estimates to check for fraud.

Some insurance companies will not pay for OEM parts and the customers of those insurance companies have no recourse because they agreed to that policy when they signed for the insurance policy (it's in the fine print).

That's why I switched from Geico, found out they aren't obligated to replace parts with OEM. Granted that accident i'm referencing I wasn't at fault so I only dealt with their insurance company but I fought them to put OEM parts on. They ended up totaling the vehicle anyways after the quote I provided.

if I didnt commute in it I would have gone 4.88

4.56 feels good but its not night and day difference with 33" tires.

Here are some photos of the installed flares. The lighting was off a bit so I shot a quick video as well.

The decorative hardware was a polished stainless steel. I am not a huge fan of shiny things, although my wife definitely is, I hit the heads with some etching primer and then painted the folts and washers with a black paint. While they are not perfect, I think it accomplishes the look I was going for.

On a side note, I did run in to a problem along the way. I reached out to Bushwhacker and there were an INCREDIBLE help! I must give them five stars for customer service. The installation was not as straight forward as it could have been though, especially the front flares.

Do I regret buying there? NO! They look awesome and I am glad I spent a few extra bucks to have them color matched to my truck.

P.S. I know the bumper side pieces are not on yet, I got lazy. I did keep those black as to blend in with my black bumper. At some point in time I am sure I will be going with another bumper so it really will not matter at that point.

Love that area! The girlfriend and I are going back out to Utah in a couple weeks. Not to Moab this time, been there 2 years in a row. This time we are heading out to Capital Reef and Grand Escalante for about 3 weeks.

Great stuff to see in Capital Reef. We used to go there for Memorial Day weekend every year because the fresh asperagus was up in the orchard adjoining the campground... but they've turned the orchard into campground now. Most people don't trek north to I-70 as much as going south into Escalante. You just can't choose a bad direction to go.

have a blast!! I stayed at goose island campground 6/7 nights, which I highly recommend due to proximity to town, trails, river, and available cell signal.

The 4x4 trails in arches national park are no joke either. Getting up to tower arch was quite the treat

Yeah we stayed there last time we were out there Thats a nice campground and most people go north on the river and not south. Yeah we tried to drive out there with the stock taco and I got a little nervous and turned around about have way. I didn't have much clearance with how loaded up I was but we did make it threw the White rim road no problem. That is a spectacular drive!
    Heading up to Tower Arch
