I don’t know if this has been asked but I just got a Tacoma with roof lights and rock lights and they are controlled with the button. Is there a way to control them with the touchscreen headunit or something? Thanks in advance.

Likely not since they are specifically wired to the button...would require a re-wire to get it synced with head unit, if that is even possible, which it probably isn't.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Why would you want to do that?
Using a switch is definitely easier to manage.
Controlling them thru the headunit is bound to cause you heartburn in the future when something not seemingly related goes wonky and the lights no longer turn on.
