The primary shift maps for ECUs 04B04 and 04A61 stock files are identical, so I doubt it is just 04A61. It would be easy enough for someone on other ECUs to log and prove out.

But let's do a thought experiment. The screenshot below is the stock 3-4 downshift schedule. If the units are kph, one can calculate that at 11.5% accelerator position, the truck will not downshift from 4th gear to 3rd gear until the engine rpms drop to 485rpm. That's below idle speed. I'm not buying that. If the units are mph, then the rpms need only drop to 780 rpm. Still crazy low, and a big part of why the stock tune sucks, but at least a more believable number.

 

Is there a way (user side) that we can see all the VINs attached to our master key (or whatever we have registered?). Also, are VINs unlocked globally (for anyone), or just for our master key.

I think you had mentioned crediting people that had purchased credits the same amount of credits for the new system. Does this also apply for those of us that pre-ordered the WiFlash cable?

 

I’ve asked this as well. I’m not out much, but I have purchased credits once in the past.

 

Yesterday I copied the "Warm Base 1" map into all of the other maps except sport, 4WD, and cold. Didn't do any averaging or anything like that.

I think the truck drives really nice. For sure the shifts are more predictable. I did not have a single strange shift on the way into work this morning.

 

There is a better way..
in the manual, go to driving procedures and locate speed for 2hi, 4hi ( page 216). It says 107(173) .
Go to Global speed table in any 2.0 or stock files. You'll find 173.

 

VIN data is kept secure, nobody can view it. When a truck is licensed, anyone can flash it after (global).

yes if you need more credits than what was credited just send us a message.

for folks who have performed multiple flashes we need some sort of proof though. Can't just say "yea I tuned a 100 trucks, need 400 credits thanks"

Will a spreadsheet work? I can offload mine from Google drive and send it your way via zendesk but want to do it right, so there's no back and forth or delays.

@PapaRee This guys issue is he is trying to flash your 04B33 tune but his ECU is 04B30.

 

I knew it had to be a user error. Thanks for helping me sort it out.

I would like to start tuning, but I am unable to get pass the registration process.
Says I have reached max limit for this master key, even when I only have it on my old computer.

I sent a zendesk #24481 about a week ago.

 

I ran into the issue when I uninstalled to try and fix the credit issue. Mat reset my master key but it still keeps showing me the error

 

99.99% of the time when this happens it's an anti virus blocking the software or you're putting the wrong username / password.

We will reset the keys as soon as possible. You do NOT have to EVER re-register just from installing the software again, there is no need to uninstall and re install again and again.
if you have an issue you can't figure out please contact us and we will get to you. Don't make a bigger headache for yourself or us trying to help you.

If you are new to flashing/tuning your truck, please identify your ECU before buying tune packs, tunes or unlocking an ECU.
You will want to be on the most up to date one. There is a thread by @tonered about updating

•The most important thing is to only flash the correct tune for your truck. They must match!

Is this tune for regular 87 fuel or premium?
