    YES! Good point, your principal you already paid your taxes on, so you aren't paying taxes on it again. You could have put in 6k in April 2020, rode the wave up to now and pulled your 6k out and had I dunno, 10k or if you played GME a lot more, in gains and let that ride.

    Advice: Don't do it, you can but you shouldn't. Let it ride.
