Replaced all that on a 100 series for an ih8mud member. If you can afford the metaltech4x4 or similar links, I'd go for it.

the metaltechs are nice but I don’t think I need the adjustability. That’s just one more thing to need to mess with.

I was thinking more along the lines of just pressing out the stock bushings and replacing with whiteline. Dunno. Off to do more research.

Also, any suggestions on KDSS swaybar bushings?

I want to stay away from poly if possible due to the horrid noise they tend to make.

I did the secondary air intake pump Uni filter mod, BUT there was no trace of any foam in the factory filter housing. Zero. Do I need to be concerned about this?

And yes I changed my power steering fluid, via turkey baster method.

wouldn’t worry about it. If it was sucked into your engine you’d know it by now.

It was making a crackling sound. Sounded like when you plug and unplug a headphone jack multiple times. I though it was an issue with the aftermarket Bluetooth system I installed. Tore apart the dash, door panels etc. Finally unplugged the amp and it stopped.

It's definitely the amp, just trying to figure out how to fix it. United is recommended by Mud, but have had no response. Anyone bought refurbished?

My 04 gx does the same thing with the crackling. I'm in the same boat, need to repair/replace my amp.

Believe you can get an amp from a LS430 of the same year. It’s a direct swap IIRC

I don’t have nav; so I cannot confirm.

Any plug and play remote starts for the GX 470? Haven't been able to find any. Would prefer long range remotes and/or app capability.

Thanks! Should get me all kinds of mall points! Still have to get the alignment worked out and install the Dobinsons rear panhard bar to bring the axle back in line. And of course clean the headlights, install front door tint, get the windshield replaced, order and install DD yellow fogs, install my upgraded headlight bulbs, etc etc etc

You on ih8mud? And I need an adjustable panhard bar for my 100. Axle is clearly to one side haha.

you really need a panhard correction kit for the rear end, adjusting the bar side to side is a bandaid...you really need the panhard bar to be more parallel on a lifted vehicle as that will correct your roll center...on a lowered car you can get away with just an adjustable bar, but to do it right on a lifted truck you need the correction kit...and seems you have a good welder already.

What are guys running for tires? More specifically what load rating? I haven’t owned a vehicle quite this heavy so I’ve been an LT tire guy thus far but I’m thinking I need a higher load rating for the GX.

I’m confused by your comment. The GX’s came stock from the factory with P metric tires and people drive them, tow with them without much trouble. Changing tire sizes (larger) will increase the load index rating. If your intentions to have a true pavement princess and occasionally tow, a P metric or 6ply (Load Range C) is more than enough.

Plan to do light trails, camping remote, fishing and hunting trails, etc. Not a total pavement princess but not a full trail rig.

I am thinking C load range would be fine.
