    Hey all,

I have an 06 Taco and I am looking to change out my headlights. I am not looking to spend a small fortune just put something in that looks better and projects better. I am considering these:

https://www.protuninglab.com/hid-2lhp-tac06jm-rs.html with 6k bulbs. Will I need the wiring harness? Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard. I got a set in my garage... They leaked, or 1 leaked... That being said I like and may try and reseal it one day but also broke one of the ballast so need parts to get it 100%. I did not need anything but the kit for wiring.

Did you install yourself? Would you recommend professional installation or?

Am oem headlight housing with high quality halogen bulb can’t be beat, couple that with some DD driving fogs and you’re good to go.

Yes. Headlights are pretty easy. Blind bolt on the bottom can be a pain

I would upgrade the bulbs but I have moisture collecting in the lenses and they are cracked and faded...any recommendations for how to deal with that? Thanks!

Stay away from aftermarket housings unless you plan on putting some fish in your headlights.

New OEM housings with the Ultimate Headlight Upgrade for the best lighting. And you don't have to buy new housings. Plenty of good, used OEM housings for sale used if you keep your eyes open.
