Both instances of people not knowing what they're doing. I honestly wonder of those kinds of folks doing a horrible revovery for their own benefit or actually think they're helping.

Yeah there are simple "I'm stuck in sand/mud/snow and need a tug" recoveries, and then there's situations like this where you really need to know what you're doing. Rolled trucks, trucks sitting on a ledge, etc. And then to take video and post it online, I just don't get people lol.

How sad! What a bunch of walking lobotomies in this video. Amazing how you end up with so many random people and all being such inbreds. LA I guess

Funny you say this. Got a text from the dealer I bought my truck from this morning.

Most wide open lands and rookies. Come up to the northeast - it's a challenge to find a place to wheel, so when you do go out there, there's at least some semblance of experience alongside us rookies. Out in the SW and So Cal there's a ton of people with a ton of money and a ton of open land they can go out and wheel on, so there's no "I have to find a group to go with" mentality - they just go, or go with a group full of meat heads.

There were enough Fakeboogers taking videos, they should have put the phone in their pocket. All line up on the top side of the truck, push it back onto its wheels.

    Good night........

If I come across some shit like that, I'm pulling out my phone. I've been that guy before but it was in a better situation and was back on 4 wheels pretty quickly but @Zac of all trades was there filming to make sure everyone saw I was stupid. If it had gone totally pear shaped like this one, I wouldn't be mad for it to get posted everywhere. And the Ins Co doesn't really care too much, once it's on it's side it may take some extra damage to get it back over safely, totaled truck is totaled truck.

First vid: nice view of the lake. Grotesque way of recovering.

Second vid: Yes way. It only rolled over. Been there done that. Drivebale 100%

It is clear the problem was the wheel size. Lmfao

Its sad but true, used to be I could go out to any number of my nearby trails on weekends and maybe see a few other people, more if it was a holiday. But never too crazy.

Ever since Covid the trails have been absolutely packed with people, I have no idea where they all came from all of the sudden but its like everyone and their mother went out and bought some kind of overland rig and is clogging up the trails like it's the highway during rush hour. Weekdays are the only good time to go out now, unless you venture further out to the more remote federal land far away from the city.

Wow! What a bunch if dipshits!

What a shame. I highly doubt it was totaled before that idiotic recovery.

I don't mind a night run once in awhile, but I really enjoy getting out and taking in the views during the day. Snow wheeling is my jam but I draw the line at snow wheeling in the dark lol.

Speaking of which, we have a storm coming through tomorrow...hopefully the mountains will get some snow. Been a really dry/warm winter for us here, compared to like 95% of the rest of the country
