Haven't done it yet but wanna change out my front and rear differential fluids. I'm assuming front should be changed even though I rarely use 4wd. Also maybe I should change transfer case too??? 38,000 miles. Based on the label in the truck and what's in the book I'm assuming 5 quarts will do front and rear differential. Any thoughts from the experts on changing all 3? TIA20210302_171508.jpg

The Spotter Mirror mod is tied for my favorite mod. I swear I can see better behind me with them, and not just the sneaky cars in your blindspot, but the general mirror area as well. It must be the curvature of the mirror or something, but I noticed the difference right away and coming from a 2nd Gen, I found the stock rear view mirrors on the 3rd gen to be off or something, I cannot describe it.

They have excellent customer service as well!

That was the exact mileage I had done mine at. I only changed front and rear and put in:
    1.6 qt (front) // 4.8 qt (rear) // total: 6.4 qt

I purchased a couple gallon size containers from A mazon and then added a couple extra quarts just in case. Glad I did... Also, a good thread on it here, but keep in mind he's only changing rear.

Nudged back a part of the skid plate that took some trail damage and added in these handy little guys.

    Cost me $30 total

Thanks. I see yours is an offroad but mine is a sport so that's why I posted the truck info. I believe mine holds less fluids but wanted to verify with those who have already done this.

2nd shot is the worst one. I had my second on Feb 2. Ended up with a few side effects for a couple of days. Not that bad though.

Me too. I don't know why that link won't paste right...
Search: Trail Tacoma Grab Handles for Prinsu and you'll find it.

I'd been eyeing the $$$ ridgeline handles from PrinSu. Glad I held out

I installed a front and rear hitch recently on my Gen 3 SR. Anyone have suggestions for a good wench mount? I've through about replacing the front end with a hidden wench, but seeings as I already have the from hitch and the Rough Country wench, I'd just buy a good hitch plate. The wench is a 9500lb synthetic, so I'm kinda worried a crap mount would buckle under the sheer stress.

    Yeah... I wanna run skinny 33s... 255/80/17.... A true 33 E rated tire that's only 53 pounds..

But the wheels I want are 9" wide... Fuel beast 17x9 with -12mm offset...

The 255/80/17 Toyo open country AT3 says max wheel of 9".... But I feel like 9 inch wheels would be too wide on that tire.

Second wheel choice is fuel vector 17x8.5 with +7mm offset... Which would be better for those tires... But wouldn't make me as happy LOL

But getting wider tires comes with more weight and less height... Also wouldn't make me as happy. Damn. Everything has to be complicated.

    Stock-ish
Didnt physically do anything to it, but ordered some more stuff for Moab prep.
•did the bearings on my Fox coilovers the other day, and found out the misalignment spacers were worn aswell so ordered those.
•Ordered a transmission skid from Richochet Offroad, and they managed to ship it same day! Whereares every big name brand is 4+ weeks out on skid plates. Stoked
•Got a spare CV and some spare Tie Rods
    • Still need to either find or have a spare rear driveline made so I have a spare
