I noticed the dealer that I traded into listed my base 2018 TRD Off Road DCSB..... asking price just under $37k. I knew they'd ask a lot for it, but at that price i'd go buy a new one. I hope the new owner doesn't sniff the passenger seat too much.

Oh they’re definitely around. They might be silent now but they’ve been vocal about it before.

I run the 33x10.5x17 Kenda Klever Rt, weigh in at a little-heavier 60lb per tire, but with vehicle weight they are measuring 32.8" with a normal street pressure on a 17x8.5 wheel.

As if Meso has something I need in stock. lol.

But good to know the plan will work. I think I may tackle this one this weekend as I'm going on a road trip the following weekend and would like to have my actual phone mount usable.

Ordered my OME 2" suspension lift kit today! Can't wait. It's on backorder. After talking to the guy at the 4x4 shop I decided to get light duty. Then I looked it up and it said not to get light duty if you have an aftermarket front bumper. "Oh no" I thought, thinking aftermarket bumpers made for bumping are cool while I really don't like painted bumper covers that get scratched. Then I thought about it "A beefier suspension to accommodate the front bumper? How much weight do I want to add to my daily driver?" This OME suspension may be answer I'm looking for to quit spending money on my truck! Seriously, I live in the city, it's my only car, love the look of the Tacoma, and ones that look like they could conquer all, but have never done any real off-roading, even though I'd like to. But I don't think I could do it often as there's nowhere to go that's real local. So I'll try to keep mine light, more for show, but can handle some real off-roading when called on to do so. I thought the new 17" rims with the beefy tires looked kind of squished in front, though it wasn't rubbing. Can't wait to see how it looks with the lift.

Coming soon: Compact powered sub install Future mods planned: bigger tires (265/75/16) BILLSTIEN 5100 lift
I'm kinda in the same situation. I'm sort of in the city just barely, there are only a few place to off road, some more than an hour away unless you can get permission to use private land.
It's my only vehicle and I'm going to tow with it too.
I love the look of a lift but 2" is pretty good. I did the same with the Jeep I used to have. If you don't go crazy with big tires it should still daily drive fine. I don't think I'm ready to lift mine yet.

    Looks great.

Waiting on my eibach stage 2 coilovers with rear sport shocks now from Eibach. Supposed to ship this week. Plan on doing 2-2.5" front and 2" rear.

Also waiting on diff drop, taco lean spacer, and some longer bolts from headstrong. Ordered last week... Hopefully ship soon.

ECGS bushing arrived today, will be done at install for piece of mind...

Cab mount chop will also be done the same day as lift install... Regardless of what wheels and tires I end up running... Rather have it done and not need it than the opposite route...

Nice! I have 2.5 fox resis in front, 2.0/cd adjuster in the rear. U-bolt flip, wheelers superbumps front and rear which I highly reccomend, cmc, trimming done to the inner fenders, firewall hammered a bit. I didnt do the ecgs bearing at first, but developed some vibes not long after lifting it so I'm doing it this weekend.

Was the cmc and trimming needed for your setup or done preventively?

I've seen lots of people supposedly running these skinnier sizes without needing much, so just curious.
