1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I picked up the 4.56s to possibly put in my double cab for 33s. Gear ratio calculators made me think 4.56s would be fine in an auto but the internet says no. Now I'm considering running them in the flatbed with 35s since it's a manual.

Had to stop on my way home tonight, and appreciate where I live. Been looking at budget spreadsheets way to much.

 

On flat ground 4.56 is good for 35's. It wasn't good enough for 33's going up hills.

4.30s on 33s run great going up steep ass hills.

 

I dunno, I don’t know my Utah city names.

 

With a V6 or a 3RZ? My 3RZ couldn't cruise hills in 5th.

 

The Wasatch front is all one big city anyway.

33’s and 4.10s with an auto are where it’s at, loves the red line

 

I'm running your 4.56s with my 2rz on 31s. I'm going up to 285s this summer. I feel like I am going to loos 5th gear.

Forgot to post these earlier for ya; on my way back I ran into a double cab solid axle Tacoma; clean AF in person.

He found me on Facebook shortly after since people were posting from the regional club
