Age and experience are king , I think your first though is the guards in the way and after a few accidents and close calls most would agree “deal with it “ you only get what your born with I’d like to die one day all limbs and digits in tacked .

Blow a hole in a pair of needle nose with 277v... and just last night I got to see 7200v get to ground. No idea on the amps but the arc was about 8 foot long. Good thing no one got hurt and the circuit didn't lock out. Talk about lighting the night sky up...

Speaking of PPE. I make it a habit to put clear glasses on whenever I’m doing anything in the garage. I was trying to shove this trim up into the corner with some dikes (which I was using to cut the trim) and the dikes slipped. Punched myself in the eye with the tip of the dikes, hard. I legitimately may have lost my eye without them. Phew doggy. This just happened a few hours ago.

These glasses are inexpensive so I recommend everyone have them on hand.

Stabbed myself in the mouth (just outside of my upper lip) with needle nose pliers doing something similar about 3.5 years ago!

As many as I can fabricate
So on the PPE topic, these are my safety glasses and prescription! I did not think they could do it on curved safety glasses. I've done the ER 3 times with metal in my eye, wearing the old school glasses with side shields. there was always a gap at the outside corner at the cheek. These are bullet proof. NO GAPS. They do fog up sometimes, but better than a needle in the eye on a Wednesday.

My neighbor is an industrial electrician that setup a failsafe system in a big R&D lab here in San Diego running. It was designed to drop several tons of steel on top of electronics. Supposedly it was to create a mini meltdown as opposed to a very large one.

What are you looking for? I know of a Mac truck that goes to the hangar I used to work for. However, unless it’s somewhat of a common tool, it’s likely they will have to order it too. Snap on have been the only guys I know that keep an inventory in their own personal storage.

Can confirm on eye pro. I hit myself in the face with a hammer once, and got a cut eyebrow, not a smashed orbital.

    For work. Not warranty.
I keep breaking pocket slotted screwdrivers tying to pry plastic clips so want to try this pry bar setup and have a more robust slotted screwdriver as well.
