I think it was the "pound sand" comment.

You asked. They said "no, but here's what we offer." That's all good. It's not that you reached out to ask.

There's a big difference in intention between "no, sorry" and go "pound sand."

Anyone out there have the EVO Adventure on a 6ft bed? Looks like the windows are the same size on the 5’ and 6’ for the EVO sport but curious if the same goes for the adventure doors?

The 6ft Evo Adventure caps just became available. We've just now got a few in stock and ready to ship. We anticipate some pictures to start showing up soon.

It looks like RSI is using the same side door width for both 5.5 and 6.5 foot beds. Can anyone confirm?

Just finished installing my RSI Smart cap and a 2” lift 5100s all the way around and a wheelers off-road 2” AAL. Before any settling I have exactly 2” on all 4s and 1” of rake. I’m expecting it to settle some. I used the 4th setting on the front shocks. Needed new shocks since I had 134k miles on my truck. Anyone thinking of getting the smart cap it will drop your back end like a half inch so plan accordingly if you get a lift. I got my smart cap from off road alliance. They were pretty good to deal with. Took a few months to get it but that wasn’t their fault mostly a supply chain thing.

Got my first aid kit today. The guys at @OffroadAlliance.com must have seen me work in my garage before. Sending me bandages beforehand.

    Hopefully the canopy ships soon.

How hard would it be for two people to put the canopy on the bed?

Well My dad and I put mine on and scratched the hell outa the side of my truck. Definitely wishing I would have had one more person. It’s not overly heavy just super awkward when your trying not to drag it and ruin the gasket. 3 people would be good 4 ideal.

Definitely recommend two people to lift and set in it place.

@OffroadAlliance.com is there any update on the new lock design? I remember seeing some people reporting that the locks were freezing up and that RSI is designing a retrofit that'll allow you to open the back gate from the inside..

Definitely at least 3, mostly because once the cap is over the truck the people on the sides can no longer hold the cap straight up, they are holding it out.

Also looks like you need to move it back about 1/2" or an 1" even. I've found it pretty easy to turtle it on my back while someone outside keeps it straight and adjusts. I'm not hulk either, 6'2"~ 190lbs.

I’d like to move it back but the front gasket is just sealing on the front bed rail . It’s not very wide up front and I even got the seal the required 1/8” from the edge of the cap. So note to others don’t go any less than 1/8”. It’s not bad where it sits plenty of seal on the tailgate. It’s pretty much right where my tonneau cover ended too.

Only a 3 year warranty would be a concern for that price. It is interesting looking though but with northern climates and the amount of road salts, will it hold up against corrosion?

The local dealer that I bought from used a fork lift to install the cap. The guy driving it had obviously done this multiple times. He checked & double-checked before finally setting it in place. Perfect fit on the first try. OTOH, I totally agree that 4 people are needed if you don't have a fork lift.

It’s possible to do it with one person with the right gear. I used my harken hoister to get it in place.
