Welcome! It’s a good group of people here. I’m also in Sonora. Camping, wheelin, wrenching or working is what I do every weekend. Stick around I’m sure we’ll be getting some runs together soon. I’m 39. Happy Birthday @nDub!

Relatively new to Tacomaworld. Been living in the 209 for all of my life except for the 5 years I spent in the Marines. Have had my Tacoma since 07 (bought it new). Glad to see the 209 is well represented.

I haven’t really done much wheelin , camping logging roads , I’ve mostly been raising my two kids but one is 20 now and the other is 17 , so there is more time for me , I’m a mechanic by trade and have been around the block , a few people I know are serious rock crawlers but I don’t have the money to throw at that , it’s fun and amazing but I need to run what I brung and drive it home and drive it to work on the regular, aside from any unfortunate mishaps that is .

Sounds like you fit right in with most of us. We pretty much daily (or nearly daily) drive our rigs. Some are more built than others but we stick together on the trail and always manage to get everyone through (mostly) unscathed.

I do have a habit of getting people set up with pin stripes from brush on narrow trails though :anonymous:

I'm working on being better at that... or maybe I need to get some gas powered hedge trimmers.

Anyone from Turlock / Ceres here that can recommend a good place to wash my truck? Looking for somewhere between 10-20 dollars that has a good touchless until I get myself a pressure washer and accessories to do my own. Thanks

We're signature twinsies. Sage advice from @otis24. Forget GameStop, there's money to be made in balls.

Dude I was just thinking about all you rad guys that helped me move after my heart attack. That was November of 2019 before the world went crazy. Seems like a decade ago.

    Again, thank you

Last year I bought some new LCAs with moog LBJs to put on my 2012 tacoma. Never got around to it though . My ex (she kept the truck) was talking to a shop about getting them installed but they said they wont install parts that aren't supplied by them. Anybody have the tools/know how to do it? Or know a shop I could send her to? Ball joints and bushings are already installed, just need to have it swapped out.

    Is she in Merced still?

it's a bit of a drive, but Brandon at UpNorth Innovations in Modesto is a good guy who has done word on many of our trucks

I was considering cement grey raptor linering my entire truck ! Id love some input . Body is straight, very straight in fact the truck except for the white paint peeling on the hood it’s pretty immaculate! Interior also , I picked it up with 98k on it from the original owner for $8500 .
