How’s your friend liking the AB6s these days? Torn between those, a custom BHLM/retrofit, or morimotos...

I remember when I was in college, Ole Miss had been invited to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas (last time Eli Manning played for the Rebels -- and we beat OK State :)). Anyways, the respective teams and bands went to Medieval Times somewhere in the area and ate. And the servers were mostly female. And a couple of people screamed out, "Wench! Bring me a drink and food!" At the time, it was a bit comical. But in today's PC world, probably wouldn't fly.

Where did you get your camera? I've got a go pro, but I'm not a huge fan of it. Prices vary from $100-150.

I understand people like the smoked color but I've never understood why someone intentionally dims a light. I want people to see me so they avoid me, and I want to be able to see others far enough away to take evasive action if necessary. If darkening your vision were a thing, motorcyclists would leave their headlight off.

    Stock-ish
Before trimming, they fit with the slightest, slightest rubbing at full flex. Could have gotten away with just heat-gunning the plastic, but already planned on cmc'ing it, and plan on going to 35s in the future so just did it. This is with 8.5 wide wheels, 0 offset, and 3.5 degrees of castor.

The smoked lens sequential lights I installed from Cartrimhome.com are actually quite bright.

I'm not comparing weak OEM to bright smoked lenses. I'm saying if you have two bulbs of equal lumens, and you place a smoked lens over one, it's going to be dimmer than an unmasked lens. Whether it's headlamps, tail-lights or side-markers. In my opinion, that's foolish. Replacing dim lights I recommend. Replacing dim lights and then obscuring your replaced light output is dimwitted in my opinion. Faddish, maybe fashionable, but not wise or safe. In front of a jury, the driver with smoked lenses who could not see or be seen as far as another without the obscured lenses loses the battle of comparative negligence.

You were quoting someone's photo of aftermarket mirror indicators, were you referring to headlight covers?

If so then yes using them at nighttime is dumb...
