    Stepped away from this thread for awhile, because I'm getting too impatient.

    Just saw this bit and it's not helping. Looks like a rear diamond axle is back on the menu for me whenever this kit finally makes it's way to me.

    Just one question: at 25psi will we finally be able to wheelie a Tacoma?

    Because I have experience with diamond. Buying through front range off road. $2399 built 9.5” housing with Tacoma ends.

    the spidertrax are nice too. Is there a reason I should go with spidertrax over diamond?
    I’m open to suggestions.

    thanks for this and it may be a huge leak right now. I only have 2 ports in the catch can. And I'm going breather and pcv out tee'd with a return to the manifold port. no check valves and nothing to intake. trying to wrap my head around the your pic and translating to two ports.

    no reason I was wondering if I should go diamond over spider but now Currie got thrown into the ring so there is that


    Interesting I looked at their site just a bunch of Ford stuff could you possibly link the one you got? Since I’m doing re gear soon and turbo eventually I feel like now would be the time to do the axle so I can just drop a new axle with the correct gearing.

    This setup won't work properly. Especially once you put the check valve on the manifold line, which you absolutely need with the turbos. Under boost, the check valve will close (to prevent boost leak) and any blow by is going to go into the block (from the cylinders) and essentially flow from the pcv to the breather to the pcv to the breather and continue to recirculate while simultaneously building pressure from the continued blow by. It will have nowhere to go until you let off the throttle and the check valve opens and allows the manifold vacuum to pull it all out. Under sustained boost you can essentially build enough pressure in the crankcase that either you will blow out your rear main seal or possibly pop your catch can or lines. Basically something will eventually give. Usually the seal.

    At a minimum, remove the breather line from the can and tie it into your intake or put a filter on it and let it pull from atmosphere. This will allow your catch can to handle the pcv side, and then your breather can allow pressure to escape under boost. This is the only way you can run a single two port can.

    here's my thought for a quick fix. (until i get can get my hands on a 3-port can, which I'm only finding 2-In, 1-Out cans...problem?) weld a fitting to the 3" y-pipe right of the air box and go direct to breather with a check valve. simplify the routing to the catch can by removing the tee-fitting between the pcv out and the now rerouted breather. Add a check valve between the manifold port and the catch can.

    Sound like a plan?
