Man made diamonds are plentiful and can be made for relatively cheap, but the diamond industry inflates the prices on 'natural diamonds' by controlling supply and pumping out advertising to lead you to believe that they're rare and valuable, so the prices stay crazy high.

I once had a jeweler show my that a manmade diamond can be put down on a newspaper or small text and it can be read through the glass. Where real diamonds all have flaws that prevent something like that.

I sure as hell did not spend 3 months Salary on my wife's ring lol. I'm pretty sure if I had should would've made me take it back. I spent about a paycheck on it, let me see if I can find the pick we took of it after I proposed

Just combed through all the records from when I bought the truck. Previous owner bought it in 2013 at 91k and has a tire center receipt from shortly after that time so I'm going to assume that was when 31s were installed. With the disparity between what the odo reads and what it's actually traveled I just did the math and my truck technically has 26,200 extra miles compared to what the dash actually says
