Better visibility to the front. The hood area is too long, you literally have a large blind spot in front of your truck. I have the scooped hood, which makes it worse.

I'm looking into raising my seat by adding washers, but it's really a design flaw. Makes me feel much less comfortable when off roading.

The problem is more the horrendous seating position of the Tacoma. Not the hood length.

I would move that dumb brake coil thingy out of the way in my Sport so I can put a second battery under the hood where it belongs and not next to the original battery so it can pull and tear off the thin aluminum radiator shroud connector due to the added weight in one area.

More slope on the hood. Drove my 93 toyo the other day, what a difference in visibility. Also, memory button for the seat position.

    Same here, maybe sooner!

I would change the seats to include power adjustable (this was not an option 2019, but is was for 2020).
I would also have Apple play in every model, Entune sucks.

Always seems everyone experiences tires differently. I just installed 34’s and only had to do minor trimming to the cab mount and front bumper to get them to fit.

Yeah, I don't want to remove mud flaps, trim or move anything. Seems its not easy to fit an 8 or 8.5in rim with 33s without some trimming. SO that's my gripe I would like to change

My truck is a 16, I can do without power seats or any of the other stuff the newer ones have. I’ve had my share of vehicles with all powered options, just more stuff to break in my opinion.

My truck didn’t come with mudflaps. I have stock TSS rims (7x17 +18mm) and had to run 1.25” wheel spacers to clear the upper control arms.

I’d change the exhaust note. This truck growls on easy downshifts at 2,500-3,000 rpm. Makes it seem like the truck is working hard when it’s not, and the sound isn’t a V8 with dual exhaust, so why try?

I think it’s why a lot of folks think it’s under powered. My wife’s 4Runner doesn’t sound like this.

So youre running a skinny rim and tire and that was still needed. For example my f150 had it leveled and got some rims that looked nice and threw 34s on with no prob. TO me its a hassle trying to find the right combo and one that doesn't rub. And then some people say it will and some say it wont etc etc

Does the off-road have a different exhaust? I wouldn’t say my truck is extremely quiet by any means, but unless it’s approaching 4-5k I basically can’t hear the engine over any road noise there may be (then again the roads here are horrible).

Not sure. It just seems the muffler was tuned to sound “bad ass” but all it really does is make the truck seem underpowered and over worked.

The rim width doesn’t really attribute to fitment of the tire on the truck. 285’s for a “midsize” truck is pretty large, much less when people run 305’s or 315’s. My tires are 34 inches tall and nearly a foot wide, I think most would say that’s a fairly large tire. You’re comparing a full-size truck to a midsize and then complaining that you might have to remove mud flaps.
