I hope that is what the coaches do, but most don't.

My son is a junior, he knows he is not in the top of the best players, even on the JV team, but he is just happy to play when called upon. Some kids that are in similar situations rather be on a lower team just to get more ball time.

Last year I had a sophomore on my bus his name was blake real good kid but he never had the privilege of playing football in school cause his parents didn't have the time well he started driving to school this year and the other day I saw him at Walmart we were talking he said he joined the football team this year and they started him on varsity he a big country farm boy has a real positive attitude he's been playing defense end and linebacker but he asked the coach if he could move to jv cause he wants more play time he was saying there only playing him for 10 mins every game
