Don't be a wuss. But if you want, I could probably make the trip with you. We can work out the logistics. I'm generally free on the weekends. Do you weld? We can do each other a favor if so.

Dispatch CAD work for 911 centers? All CAD work is terrible though to be fair LOL This is a multijurisdictional project with an RFP process down to three Vendors for final choosing. Its been brutal to the say the least.

Nice! Love the view! I need to start shooting some scenery pics on my walks so you know what I'm dealing with.

I'm also finally looking at installing this fence one small area at a time.

    https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/red-brand-welded-wire-72-in-x-100-ft

    with these

    https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/franklin-industries-studded-t-post-8-ft125-lb-per-foot

I'll bend the bottom of the fence at a 90 about a foot up and that will be on the inside then I will lay 6" rip rap stone on that. I'll also anchor the fence to the ground between posts with rebar stakes. Then to finish the look, and add some extra security I'll plant honeysuckle, hops, moonflower and crossvine on the outside of the fence and let it take over. Just let it all cover the fence completely over time.

Question about putting in axle shims. I bought a set of slotted 3° shims from Headstrong to try and fix a vibration from 54-60mph. I’ve tried a few different carrier bearing shims with no luck and see this is another common fix. (No, I have not don’t angle measurements yet)
If I raise the back using the rear diff till the tires are just off the ground, can I just loosen the the u bolts until the shims will slide in?
Or should I disconnect the top or bottom of the shock too? I’ll make sure the center bolt head still stays in the recess.
    Here’s what they look like-

Install the shims. Snug bolts (so it doesn’t come apart). Loosen the bolts on the leaf springs. Drop the truck on the ground. With the weight of the truck on the wheels, torque all bolts to spec.
