IMO dirt is a massive upgrade to laying down in gravel:rofl:

I just bring hunks of 3/4 plywood to put under jacks and stands, no biggie

Man these SPC ball joints sure are taking their sweet time to get here, scheduled delivery date - Friday of last week...still in Texas according to my tracking number.

At least they went from Ft. Worth, TX to Hutchins, TX on Monday...progress I guess

I just looked up Hutchins and its literally like 5 miles from Ft. Worth, lmao.

At this rate maybe they'll get here next year sometime

Funny thing is, they shipped from CO. Why go through Texas if you know the weather fucked up the shipping routes

Whenever my upper ball joints finally get here, I'm going over to Sergios and he's gonna help me do the UCA rebuild. Come on down

My upper ball joints might get here tomorrow or next year, who knows.

Are you putting fresh bushings in the UCA when you do the ball joints?

Yeah I've got new bushings for SPCs too, I'm fairly certain mine are shot. Pushing in/out on the wheel there's a lot of play that looks to be coming from the UCA itself. They're 5+ years old with a lot of trail miles on them so I wouldn't be surprised if they are bad.

SPC ball joints are easy enough to replace so might as well do them while I have the arms off.

Hopefully this sorts out my alignment issues, I'm sure it's contributing at least.

Going down the road my truck will track straight one minute then drift/pull the next, I feel like bad bushings in the arms could do that since they aren't keeping the arm firmly in place.

They probably didn't come through Texas then, apparently the shipping routes in TX are all kinds of fucked up from the bad weather they had last month...they're still catching up on things that got delayed.

Irks me that they originated in CO though, why TF go through Texas, thats the opposite way they needed to go lol

I know I know, there's more to it than that but still

Now the annoying part begins. Getting it to line up so I can bolt it in place for panel fitment. Then I’ll slowly remove bolts one at a time to weld it in place. Then some seam sealer/paint. Can’t wait to be rolling around with a green hood lol.

Gonna have to make a new panel to put it on or keep the 7th switch.

    seems pretty nice though

is the core support already welded to the passenger side apron? if so that will make the fitment a lot simpler

Yup. I pulled them together. Just having to force it to fit properly agains the Tacoma because it’s been sitting unsupported for 8 months. Driver side is good. Passenger side needs to slide into the cab half an inch more.
