    You should go walk that opinion in solitude haha! Plenty of power and NA 4cylinder just don’t go together. Yeah put your foot in it all you want. There ain’t nothing there, pal

    I grew up in the 70’s with 40 horse vw’s and 200 horse corvettes. My truck is a rocket compared to the emission era shitboxes we drove. I guess it is all relative. My truck is equal to the 3.0 Ltr v6 ranger I had.

    Interesting insight, how much do your tires weigh if you know by any chance. I’m also auto and not manual.

    66 lbs e rated. I love them. I was apprehensive at first because going from 245 to 285 was a hit in power, but that lasted two days at the most. I don’t drive interstates all that much so for me 285 was the ticket. If you drive highways daily stay with 265’s. I doubt you will be disappointed with 265/75’s

    You have 66 pound tires on a 2.7! Thank you for the insight. All y’all are changing my view about the 265/75/16 on the 2.7L. I might end up just throwing them on there this weekend!

    Somehow I missed that you are auto. I would be less concerned about gearing in an auto because you have torque multiplication from the torque converter to get you going.

    Some people complain about power on the highway but you can always just downshift. It's starting from a stop that annoys me with taller tires. Not really a problem but just takes a little more focus/effort to get started from a stop, without abusing the clutch, in 1st gear up hill. I have 235/85/16s btw.

    Your tires are definitely way taller than mine. Mine are just an inch bigger than stock. Let’s see how it goes.

    @Thenativefly ya I’ve got a 3”ish lift.

    Realistically you’ll be fine I doubt you’ll notice a huge difference and since you’ve got the tires already might as well just throw them on.

    I've been riding around with 265 75 16 all terrain tires for over 3 years now on my 2.7. Literally almost no performance difference. Even if you do feel it its super slight and you get used to it after like 2 days. And I have a 3 inch lift on top of it.

    Very glad to hear this. I’ve been having a bad time debating on whether or not to keep my set up.

    Shouldn't rub. I went up in tire size before I lifted. Unless your wheels offset out from the vehicle, the tire will be close to your UCA, and you won't be able to run chains (found that out the hard way one day)

    Highway isn't so bad, but I'll give you sand. Without a regear sand is pretty horrid unless using 4 lo.

    Full OME 2" front and rear shocks, 887s in the front and the complete leaf pack in the rear. So far been a great setup with the SSO slimline bumper and winch up front
