    No I’m amphibious (kidding) but mainly shoot right handed

    the gun just had bad quality control and back then it was common to either buy a nicer version or a local gunsmith work on it.

    I have two Springfields. One 9mm and one .45ACP. Both has been flawless. I want a Series 70 Colt or WWII military issued, though. I also have two 2011s. The first is a Staccato P Duo and the second is the STI/Taran Tactical collaboration from John Wick 3.

    The only issue I had with the TRP was from the factory it was so tight it was having eject issues. I sent it back to SA and Debbie in customer service had the guys in the custom shop hand fit the frame and slide. This gun has been flawless ever since

    I bought this used from a friend of a friend and saved $2K off new price who needed money because of a divorce...

    They really do have excellent customer service and with this issue they went above and beyond took a little longer but worth it...

    So only $2k lol

    The only time I had a slight issue was on my lightweight operator coming with base model grips that weren't compatible with the ambidextrous safety. I got lost in the shuffle and had to wait nearly a month for replacement grips.

    Later, on the same gun, I sent it back in for hammer follow issues (about 5500 rounds) and they fit a tool steel stainless sear (I'm thinking it was a TRP sear) under warranty and pinned the ejector for free when I asked them to pin it.

    I had a stainless SW1911 E-series that was gorgeous.

    A local "gunsmith" damaged the out-of-production sights and I dropped it at a match and couldn't stand looking at it so I sold it lol.

    It was 100% reliable.

    All scratches look terrible on them.

    I have WAYYY too many stainless pistols. Wife told me to get this in black but the stainless on the TRP looked better to me :D.
    Been looking to get a Sig P226 black but the "shortage" in guns here in commifornia got me ITCHING!!!
