    Trust me, I thought the same thing. I mean, in my non-mechanically inclined brain, I do understand how radiators work, and that paint would thwart that operation and eventually lead to the engine overheating. All my extensive research (google), came to the conclusion that it was okay. Temp sensor hasnt budged, and I just got home from driving about 20 miles solid. So again, so far so good. If it ends up screwing up the radiator, lesson learned on my part.

    FYI you didn't paint the radiator, you painted the AC condenser. It looks like the radiator but is not, sits in front of the radiator. You'll notice AC performance issues before the truck starts running hot.

    Video is nicely done. Suprised YouTube allowed that song to be used.

    I was waiting for the tree guys to show up to begin pulling the huge pine that was blown over early Tuesday morning off Lynn's old green house.

    Thanks! I'm not monetized, so YouTube doesn't care lol. It did however seem to care an awful lot about a Led Zeppelin song I used in the past.

    Hey guys new member here! im from upstate NY (Kingston) and am leaving the German car world for a tacoma. i ordered a 2021 tacoma sport in army green with 6mt on 01/02/2021. my question is, ive seen a lot of you were provided with a temporary vin so you can track your build. I’ve now reached out to my sales person multiple times asking questions and haven’t been given a more detailed answer than “your truck is being built” have any of you had similar circumstances? feels like I’m being left in the dark a bit. anyways thanks for the add and love seeing everybody’s builds! can’t wait to enjoy my ew tacoma!

    Welcome to team Army Green! I have a '96 BMW Z3 that is my play ride. :)

    Depending on when your truck is scheduled for production, the dealership may not yet have a pre-VIN assigned to your truck. They seem to get those perhaps 3 weeks or so before the scheduled production date. It will show up on their Daily report. SOme dealerships are more "interested" in keeping their customers in the loop about the process. Some are not.

    Tackled another difficult install today - switched the red glovebox letters for an Army Green set made by AJT Design. They did a nice job on these - you can feel them almost snap into the indentations in the dash. Another +5 Hp gain, at least!

    Thanks! They do. All of mine, except for the glovebox letters and the steering wheel logo cover, are from MESO Customs, though.

    Wow! :eek::eek::eek:

    I just looked up prices and they will have to wait. the whole chrome delete kit from AJT will cost me $89. We will see how bad the chrome annoys me and then I'll make my decision in order to buy or not. Thanks for the reply!

    Don't have mine yet, so why do you say it is a bitch to maintain? Just curious, so I can plan for that.

    I actually don't find it hard to maintain. It shows dirt more than some lighter colors but certainly not as bad as black or dark blue, IMHO.

    Has anyone found these in Army Green? I can find someone who makes just the #Tacoma" in something like forest green but not the rear logo. I'd like to switch mine to AG.
