Has anyone had their damaged, missing or broken mud flaps replaced under a warranty, in particular a platinum extended warranty?? My right rear 4X4 mud flap melted on my tailpipe after a water crossing. It must have partially separated at the seem then moved back and against the tail pipe at highway speeds. I tried my local Toyota dealer after pulling my front one off on a curb but was told NO. Does anyone have any advice on how to approach the dealer again??

I broke both of my front mud flaps on my now traded in 05 Pre-Runner and the dealer replaced them with no questions asked.

So the mud-flap failed due to excess water psi against it from a water crossing and you are claiming warranty? I am not fully understanding explain more.
